The rapid expansion of renewable energy technologies has intensified the demand for advancedmaterials, raising concerns about the environmental impacts of their production. This study presents acomprehensive life cycle assessment (LCA) and environmental optimization analysis of advancedmaterials production for Iran's renewable energy sector, with a focus on materials used in solar panelsand wind turbines. Using a combination of primary data collected from Iranian manufacturing facilitiesand secondary data from established LCA databases, we employed the ReCiPe ۲۰۱۶ impact assessmentmethod to evaluate environmental impacts across multiple categories. Multi-objective optimizationtechniques were then applied to balance environmental performance with production efficiency andeconomic considerations. Key findings reveal significant environmental hotspots in energy-intensiveprocesses such as silicon purification and rare earth element extraction. The study also identifies uniquechallenges and opportunities within the Iranian context, including the potential for integrating renewableenergy into manufacturing processes. Optimization scenarios demonstrate pathways for reducingenvironmental impacts without compromising production efficiency.The results provide valuable insights for policymakers and industry stakeholders, supporting thedevelopment of more sustainable practices in Iran's renewable energy material manufacturing. The studyconcludes by outlining future research directions, including the integration of dynamic LCA modeling,social impact assessments, and circular economy strategies.
