This article delves deeply into the complex relationship between organizational culture and the prevalence of bullying within the frameworks of human resource management. As the focus on employee well-being and workplace dynamics grows, it becomes essential to comprehend how an organization’s culture can either encourage or alleviate bullying behaviors. The research incorporates a mixed-methods approach to gain a comprehensive understanding, utilizing quantitative surveys alongside qualitative interviews to gather varied perspectives from employees at different organizational levels. The findings demonstrate that organizations with a positive culture —characterized by open communication, inclusivity, and mutual respect—experience significantly lower incidents of bullying. In contrast, environments that exhibit rigid hierarchies and lack adequate support systems see a troubling rise in bullying incidences. The article concludes by offering actionable recommendations for HR professionals who aspire to cultivate healthier workplace environments. These suggestions emphasize the importance of conducting cultural assessments and implementing targeted interventions that nurture a more supportive organizational ethos. By proactively addressing the root causes of bullying through transformative cultural changes, organizations can not only mitigate negative behaviors but also enhance overall employee satisfaction, boost productivity, and improve retention rates. Ultimately, fostering a positive organizational culture is pivotal for sustainable success in any workplace.
