Today, the use of these control systems in buildings has increased and its importance is felt more and more to reduce the vibration of structures. Also, to improve the dynamic behavior of adjacent buildings, control systems can be installed between adjacent buildings as active, semi-active and passive systems. Therefore, in this research, the protection and care of adjacent concrete buildings against earthquakes and structural vibration were investigated. So that by using control systems for adjacent and continuous structures, and the current status of using these systems, it was presented to determine the effect of interconnection or proximity on the dynamic characteristics of buildings. Then an adjacent structural model with two degrees of freedom and a structural model with several degrees of freedom are introduced. And formulas and relations related to the system were presented. To extract response analysis and time history from SAP ۲۰۰۰ software and to determine the optimal strategy of time changes of roof displacement and base shear response of adjacent structures connected with viscous damper was also presented. This study shows that it is not necessary to connect two adjacent buildings by dampers at all floors, but less dampers at well-selected locations can help reduce the response in earthquakes. And by placing viscous fluid dampers in specially selected floors, it provides a more useful structural system to reduce the effects of earthquakes.
