چکیده مقاله:

Background: Endometriosis is a multifactorial disease thatcauses pelvic pain and infertility in women of reproductive age.Previous studies indicated that the growth of endometriosis canbe regulated by the innate immune system in the pelvic environment.Different immune cells and dendritic cells express Tolllikereceptors (TLRs) and respond in a specific way to pathogens.TLRs play a major role in endometrial defense againstmicroorganism. Here, we examined role of TLR۵, MyD۸۸ andNF-kB during all of the menstrual cycle.Materials and Methods: The Expression of TLR۵,MyD۸۸ andNF-kB mRNA in Eutopic and Ectopic Endometrial Tissue fromWomen with Endometriosis Compared to endometrial tissuesof control group. Results: The expression of TLR۵ and MyD۸۸ mRNA was different in both eutopic and ectopic endometrial tissues of womenwith endometriosis compared to control group. Conclusion: Different expression of TLR۵ and MyD۸۸ in eutopicand ectopic endometrial tissues may be involved in theinflammatory pathogenesis of endometriosis.
