چکیده مقاله:

Background: Endometriosis is classically defined as the presenceof functional endometrial glands and stroma outside theuterine cavity. Physiological changes during menstrual cyclecause the endometerium and endometriosis to develop specifickind of tissues, especially in regard to the gene expression profiles.Alterations in estrogen-mediated cellular signaling play anessential role in the pathogenesis of endometriosis. ERβ interactswith cellular apoptotic machinery in the cytoplasm to inhibitTumor necrosis factor (TNF-α)-induced apoptosis. TNF-αis a major cytokine involved in inflammatory and immune function. Our aim in this study was to determine the expression ofTNFα and ERα, ERβ in endometriosis.Materials and Methods: With the usage of RT-PCR, we researchedthe expression of as TNFα and ERα ,ERβ reliable reference genes ineutopic and ectopic endometrial tissue specimens obtained duringstandard surgery of women of reproductive age. Stability of expressionlevel was analyzed by the most universal MS excel. Results: During this study, changes in the expression of TNFαand ERα ,ERβ were observed between normal and endometriosisgroups in various phases of menstruation. Conclusion: In RT-PCR based analyses of gene expression levelin eutopic and ectopic endometrium, we strongly recommendthat a difference of TNF-α and ERα, ERβ genes are to be used.
