چکیده مقاله:
Background: The purpose of this study was to prepare andevaluate a ۳- layered biomimetic applicable nanofibrous mat forwound dressing. The mat was composed of polycaprolactone(PCL) in the bottom layer, chitosan/poly ethylene oxide (Cs/PEO) in the middle layer and PCL/Collagen in the top layer.Materials and Methods: Field emission scaning electron microscopy(FE-SEM) evaluation, mechanical properties andthermogravity analysis (TGA ) were applied for characterizationof nanofibrous mat. Then human dermal fibroblasts (HDFs)were seeded on the ۳- layered nanofibrous mat and in vitro assessmentwas applied by using MTT and cell attachment withFE-SEM.Results: HDFs could attach properly to surface of mat andshowed normal growth and spreading. All three layers showednormal physical and mechanical characteristics that indicatedintegrity and strength of the three- layered nanofibrous mat.Conclusion: This three- layered nanofibrous mat could be introducedas a dynamic and effective candidate for wound dressing.
