چکیده مقاله:

The risk of spreading viral infections increasingly threatens public health. Unfortunately, thenumber of effective and available drugs for the prevention and treatment of these types of infections islimited [۱]. Management of viral infections in the absence of prevention tools brings costs and hasserious effects on the economy and social life [۲]. The most effective way to rapidly identify antiviralcompounds is high-throughput screening of the libraries containing existing drugs or random molecules.Such analysis provides potential drug candidates, however, these efforts are usually not cost-effectiveand often time-consuming [۳]. Boosting immunity is a simple way to resist viral infection. The use ofimmune-enhancing nutrients has the potential to control viral infections by activating the immuneresponse. Cyanobacteria are a rich biological source of bioactive compounds with therapeuticimportance [۴]. In this research, among ۶۰ proteins with possible antiviral function, during ۱۰ step bystep screening, ones that had the ability to inactivate ACE۲ enzyme were selected. The ۳ selectedproteins not only represented acceptable biochemical and pharmacokinetic properties, but also hadsignificant binding energy compared to commercial antiviral drugs. Bioactive peptides are defined asspecific protein fragments that have a positive effect on body performance and health. With the help ofbioinformatics tools, it is possible to discover bioactive peptides with enhanced health-care properties, especially against viral infections. The discovery of medicinal metabolites, especially from the branchof aquatic biotechnology, has opened a promising future for us in the face of the spread of drug-resistantstrains .
