Background and Aim: Climate change is recognizedas one of the greatest global challenges of the ۲۱st century, and itsimpacts on human life, particularly in developing countries, areincreasing day by day. These changes affect not only the environmentbut also the social and economic aspects of communities. One of theserious consequences of climate change is forced migration, whichoccurs due to natural disasters, scarcity of water and food resources, and severe climatic changes. This article examines the impact offorced migration caused by climate change on children's right toeducation. Given that education is one of the fundamental rights ofchildren and a key factor in the sustainable development ofcommunities, this research aims to demonstrate how populationdisplacements resulting from climate change can affect children'saccess to education and what measures are necessary to uphold thisessential right.Method: The data used in this research, which focuses on the impactsof climate change on migration and the right to education, werecollected through document analysis. The data were analyzed usingcredible sources and existing literature on climate change andchildren's rights. The results are presented in a descriptive andanalytical manner, with findings analyzed in light of existing theoriesin the literature, along with recommendations for policymakers andeducational institutions. Results: Research shows that climate change, as one of the mainfactors of migration, has profound impacts on vulnerablecommunities. Rising temperatures, droughts, and floods lead to theloss of natural resources and livelihoods, forcing many to leave theirhomes and depriving them of their basic human rights. Thesemigrations particularly negatively affect children, reducing theiraccess to education. In search of security and new livelihoods, families often keep their children from attending school. Moreover, these forced migrations place pressure not only on themigrants themselves but also on the destination communities.Increased population in new areas can lead to challenges ineducational and social infrastructure. Neglecting appropriate policiesto support migrants and their right to education will have even morenegative consequences. However, some countries have managed toovercome these challenges to some extent by implementing specialsupport and educational programs for migrant children. Theseexperiences can serve as a suitable model for other countries.Conclosion: The results of this research indicate that climate changehas profound impacts not only on the environment but also on humancommunities. Migration caused by climate crises particularlynegatively affects children, who are part of vulnerable groups, andthreatens their access to education, which is their human right. Therefore, it is essential for lawmakers to address the needs of thisgroup by adopting comprehensive and supportive approaches.Creating educational and social programs for migrant children canhelp improve their situation and reduce the negative consequences ofmigration. Ultimately, international cooperation and attention to thehuman aspects of climate crises can provide effective solutions tothese challenges.
