The hub substation, as the core of the power grid, operates at high voltage levels and large scales,rendering it vulnerable to seismic damage, potentially resulting in immeasurable losses. A ۷۵۰kV hubsubstation with ۳/۲ circuit breaker configuration was selected as the research object. Based on thelayout and electrical wiring diagram of the substation, the operational logic relationships betweenvarious equipment and units were determined, and the system functionality were defined andquantified. Furthermore, considering the multi-loop power supply formed by the ۳/۲ circuit breakerconfiguration, a state tree of the substation was established by combining fault trees and success paths.Monte Carlo simulation was employed to obtain fragility curves for different functionality levels andcalculate the remaining functionality of the system. The seismic reliability assessment results indicatethat the redundancy considered in the current substation design is insufficient, and further optimizationis required.
