چکیده مقاله:

Mid-story isolation (MSI) is one of the usage for isolation technology. Substructure, upstructure, and isolator comprise a building with mid-story isolation. The dynamic behavior of these componentsand their interactions with one another have been the subject of several investigations carried outrecently. The way these components behave in the nonlinear range, however, has received the leastattention. This paper modeled the structure with mid-story isolation as a three-dimensional systemwith an elastoplastic spring and concentrated mass. The impacts of altering the structural components'resistance parameter on the local and overall responses of the structure were assessed through the useof nonlinear time history analysis. The analysis's results demonstrated that as the substructure andupstructure's ductility increased, the shear of the substructure, upstructure and isolator has decreased.Furthermore, the substructure's ductility did not change even while the upstructure's ductilityincreased.
