چکیده مقاله:
Integral abutment bridges are bridges that, unlike simple bridges, are built without expansionjoints, and their connection is completely continuous, and they act like a rigid frame in the longitudinaldirection. Due to the integral connection, all the forces that are applied to the structure have beendirectly transferred to the bottom of the structure. Therefore, the most important part in the design ofthese bridges is the interaction between the soil and the structure. In this study, the performance of anintegral abutment bridge sample with an simple bridge sample under thermal and seismic loading hasbeen investigated and compared, And the cases of stress, maximum displacement and anchorage in theentire structure have been checked. From this study we conclude that considering that integralabutment bridges have limitations, but despite the many advantages of integral abutment bridges thansimple bridges, can be a suitable alternative for simple bridges.
