Tracing Ziegler catalyst performance through their structural charactristics

Ziegler catalysts for olefin polymerization are multi component systems which the genesis of the theiractive sites, involves several simultaneous and sequential steps. Therefore, depending on thesynthesis process, different nanostructures are obtianed which influence the overal catalystperformance but it would be difficult to find their relation in an unambiguous manner. In this work,structural characterization of three different kind of industrial catalysts was stidied to address someinterconnections between catalyst spesification and final catalyst performance.
