Effect of diethylenetriamine on yellowing of UV cured epoxy acrylate resin

Curing of resins with a double carbon-carbon end bond can be done in different ways, such as aircuring, curing with UV light along with photoinitiators and using thermal initiators. The use of thermalinitiators requires an amine compound that causes yellowing of the cure coating. In this research, theyellowing of epoxy a crylate resin with the amounts of benzoyl peroxide and diethylenetriamine curingagents has been investigated. The results showed that the minimum yellowness is for amine valuesless than ۰.۰۳۴۵% and with the amount of catalyst less than ۰.۰۵%.
