Investigating effective factors on tacticity of poly(methyl methacrylate)synthesized by free-radical polymerization

In this work, the free-radical polymerization of methyl methacrylate (MMA) was studied, focusingon the variables that affect the tacticity of PMMA. Attempts were made to change the tacticity ofPMMA, such as performing free-radical polymerization in the presence of a template. Finally, protonnuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (۱H-NMR) and gel permeation chromatography (GPC)were used to analyze the obtained polymers.
