Preparation of Hydrogel based on Natural Polymer for EnzymeImmobilization

Enzymes are the largest group of proteins and play an essential role in various processes. Consideringthat working with soluble enzyme in the extracellular environment has limitations, immobilizing iton a support can reduce these limitations and improve some properties of the enzyme. Hydrogels asthree-dimensional crosslinked polymer networks are used as efficient matrixes for enzymeimmobilization and improve their stability over a wide range of operational conditions that makethem suitable for several industrial applications.
