چکیده مقاله:

Coaxial electrospinning shows great potential for sysnthesis of textiles and fibers with outstandingcharacteristics. The aim of this study is to fabricate, characterize, and compare two common coreshellnanofibers based on poly (vinyl alcohol) (PVA) as core, and poly (ɛ-caprolactone) (PCL) aswell as poly (lactic acid) (PLA) as shells. For this purpose, a series of tests in terms of SEM,fluorescence microscopy, and FTIR are carried out to investigate the morphology, core-shellstructure, and molecular interactions, respectively. The SEM results shows the formation of smoothnanofibers with bead-free structures. Moreover, the fluorescence microscopy confirms the successfulpreparation of core-shell nanostructure. The FTIR results indicates that the great compatibilitybetween all components of nanofibers as well as suitable fabrication process. Finally, the resultsreveal that the prepared nanofibers can have a reliable potential for biomedical applications.
