Mechanical Properties of Oil-extracted Rubber Powders and PotassiumPermanganate-Modified Rubber Powders blended with Nitrile Rubber

In this paper, the mechanical properties of oil-extracted rubber powder and rubber powders modifiedwith potassium permanganate blended with nitrile rubber (NBR) were examined. The study usednitrile rubber compounds containing ۱۰, ۲۰, and ۴۰ phr of treated and untreated powders. Theevaluation were conducted on tensile properties of the resulting compounds. The results showed thatblends containing potassium permanganate(KMNO۴)-modified powder exhibited superior propertiescompared to other materials.
