چکیده مقاله:

Achieving the desired viscosity and tack in epoxy resin prepregs is mainly done by pre-curingmethod. One of the suitable solutions to remove the pre-curing step in the prepregs process and toachieve the appropriate viscosity is the formulation of epoxy resins with different molecular weights.In this research, based on the designed formulations, prepregs with desirable properties were obtainedwithout the need for a pre-curing step, and the results showed that with increasing temperature from۳۰ °C to ۴۵ °C in formulations with different molecular weights, with increasing of Epoxy resinhigher molecular weights reduces the tack and viscosity of the prepregs in a controlled manner dueto the presence of higher physical entanglements compared to the pure epoxy resin. Therefore, thetack of these formulations at different temperatures depends on the viscosity of the formulated resin,which itself depends on the amount of resins with different molecular weights. Increasing the amountof resin with high molecular weights increases the physical entanglements and creates a behaviorsimilar to increasing the percentage of pre-curing.
