چکیده مقاله:
Slip agents and anti-blocks generally affect the surface properties of polyolefins and reduce theirprintability. This work aims to incorporate different silp agents and anti-blocks in LLDPE and LDPEpackaging films. To investigate their performance on the surface characteristics of blown-moldedfilms, different additives containing samples were produced, after which corona treatment wasapplied immediately. Various testing methods were conducted to analyze the surface behavior, including the coefficient of friction (COF) and blocking force measurements, adhesion tape test, andcontact angle. The results revealed that the COFs and blocking forces decreased from ۱-۰.۱ and ۷-۳N, respectively, as these additives migrated towards the surface. The additive migration had anegative effect on the printability due to the reduction of surface energy and the formation of a weakboundary layer (WBL). However, in spite of a decrease in contact angle and an increase in surfaceenergies of the films following corona treatment, improved printability may seem to arise from thechange in surface crystallinity and strengthening of this WBL.
