An Investigation on the Physical/Mechanical Properties of PolymerNanocomposites Containing Aggregated and Agglomerated Nanoparticles

In this study, the effects of the aggregation and agglomeration of the nanoparticles on thephysical/mechanical characteristics of the polymer nanocomposites were investigated individually.To this end, first, the factors affecting the clustering of nanoparticles were reviewed and afterwards,the impacts of the aggregates and agglomerates were studied closely, which indicated the beneficialimpacts of the aggregation phenomenon despite the weakening effects of the clusters in general.
