چکیده مقاله:
Pellet-based additive manufacturing (PBAM) printing has shown a very good potential in additivemanufacturing because of its wider variety of materials compared to fused filament fabrication (FFF).In this work, it’s evaluated how much difference in mechanical properties the final parts have madewhen granules of the same composite are used instead of their filaments. To achieve better mechanicalproperties, wood flour is used as an additive, which can also lower the weight and cost of the finalproduct. Pre-impregnation of wood flour is used to improve the interactions between the additive(wood flour) and the polymer matrix (ABS). Tensile tests have revealed that ۳D-printed partsfabricated by PBAM have more than %۰۵ higher tensile strength than FFF parts. Furthermore, SEMphotos showed better interlayer bonding and lower void content in PBAM specimens.
