چکیده مقاله:

Cyanate ester resins have been widely proposed as replacements for epoxy resins in high temperatureapplications but one of the most important issue in curing of this resins is the high curing temperatureand wide curing cycle. Mechanical and thermal properties such as glass transition temperature (Tg)and char yield of cyanate ester resins are the most important properties of the thermoset resin family. To achieve these properties, cyanate ester resin must be cured to a very high degree to provide thehighest properties. Because of this properties, working on curing problem of this resin are worthingto industries such as aerospace and electronics. For this purpose, in order to improve the amount ofheat required for curing and reduce the curing time, copper(II) acetylacetonate was used, and by usingthe online FTIR in every step of cure, an improved curing cycle with low temperatures and times forresin curing was defined and used. one of the other results of this research was to increase the curingdegree of cyanate ester compared to curing by homopolymerization.
