Improved the rheological properties of recycled polyamide ۶ usingmultifunctional chain extenders

In this study, we employed the reactive extrusion technique to modify recycled polyamides ۶ (PA۶).The reactive extrusion process was conducted using a Haake melt mixer, incorporating the followingmodifiers: an epoxy-based chain extender ADR ۴۴۶۸ (Joncryl) and ۲,۴-toluene diisocyanate(TDI).The impact of the chain extender on the reactive modification was assessed by analyzing therheological properties of the PA۶ chains, including the storage modulus, loss modulus, and dynamiccomplex viscosity
