چکیده مقاله:

The widespread use of neonicotinoid pesticides, such as imidacloprid (IDP), in agriculture has raisedsignificant environmental and health concerns. In this work, a simple, selective, and sensitiveelectrochemical method was developed for the determination of IDP. A glassy carbon electrode(GCE) was modified with a nanocomposite consisting of graphene quantum dots (GQDs) and silvernanoparticles (AgNPs). Subsequently, a polyaniline (PANI) film was electropolymerized on thesurface of the GQDs/AgNPs nanocomposite. The prepared GQDs/AgNPs/PANI modified electrodeeffectively catalyzed and amplified the reduction current response of IDP in a phosphate buffersolution (pH ۷.۰). The multiple amplification effects of the GQDs, AgNPs, and PANI componentscontributed to the enhanced electrochemical performance. A linear relationship was observedbetween the reduction current response and the IDP concentration in the range of ۵ to ۱۶۰ μmol L-۱,with a detection limit of ۰.۸۷۳ μmol L-۱.The developed electrochemical sensor demonstrates highsensitivity, selectivity, and potential for the rapid and reliable detection of IDP in environmental andagricultural samples, addressing the growing concerns associated with the widespread use ofneonicotinoid pesticides.
