Using Polyaryl Polymethylene Isocyanates For Microencapsulation ofIsophorone Diisocyanate by Interfacial Polymerization Method

In this study, the effect of using Polyaryl Polymethylene Isocyanates (PAPI) as a shell in theproduction of Isophorone Diisocyanate Microcapsules (MCs) by the interfacial polymerization (IFP)method has been investigated. Due to the formation of polyurea and urethane groups, the shell of theobtained microcapsules had a strong structure and contained a high content of core materials. Theformation of these microcapsules was analyzed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR)and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).
