چکیده مقاله:

Tendon injuries constitute a formidable clinical challenge, primarily due to the tendency towards scartissue formation, which significantly impairs functionality. The development of polymeric substitutesfor tendon treatment has gained momentum, underscoring the critical role of these materials inaugmenting tendon repair. This includes the exploration of both biological and synthetic polymericsubstitutes, showcasing their promising potential. Furthermore, the utilization of hybrid compositesand advanced therapeutic structures has been highlighted, emphasizing innovative processingtechniques such as ۳D printing and fiber-based methods that significantly contribute to theadvancement of tendon regeneration. This review seeks to illuminate the materials and techniqueswith the potential to fundamentally alter tendon repair strategies and enhance clinical outcomes
