چکیده مقاله:

In tissue engineering, there is a urgent need to develop new biomaterials to meet the requirs of asuitable scaffold. Here, a tissue engineered scaffold was fabricated using two natural polymers,poly(۳-hydroxybutyrate) (PHB) and decellularized Wharton's jelly matrix (DWJM), viaelectrospinning process. For this purpose, DWJM and PHB in a ratios of ۰:۱۰۰, ۲۵:۷۵, and ۵۰:۵۰were electrospun and characterized. SEM images revealed formation of continous bead-free fibersin sample with DWJM to PHB ratio of ۲۵:۷۵. Such sample showed better hydrophilicity and cellattachment than samples with DWJM to PHB ratio of ۰:۱۰۰ along with admirable mechanicalfeatures to be used as a scaffold in tissue engineering field
