Synthesis of Thermoplastic Polyurethane/Polycaprolactone Membranes andEffect of Different Pressure on it

In this study, TPUs were synthesized with a hard segment content (HSC) of ۲۰% by weight. The synthesisinvolved ۱,۴-butanediol (BDO) as a chain extender, polycaprolactone diol (PCL-diol) with molecular weightsof ۲۰۰۰ and ۴۰۰۰ as the polyol, and isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI) as the diisocyanate. FTIR analysis wasutilized to determine functional groups and assess the chemical structure of the TPUs. Furthermore, thepermeability of N۲ and CO۲ gases was evaluated for the samples under pressures of ۳, ۶, and ۹ atm.
