چکیده مقاله:
Today, there are a lot of considerations in the design of skyscrapers. Consequently, structural design was complicated because of the lateral loads. But lateral load resistance systems are more affected by lateral loads. Reinforced concrete skyscrapers utilize a lateral load system that connects each story's end shear wall to the other end shear wall. The overall torsion strength and hardness of the structural system were impacted by the arrangement of the core walls. The shear walls have been used near the fire escape stairs at the end of the shear wall flanges to improve the system's hardness and stability. This. Taking the regularity of the plan into account, this study modeled two ۳۰-story steel buildings with and without end shear walls. In end shear walls, there was a ۴۳% decrease in maximum story drift and a ۳۷% decrease in the ratio (ΔMax/ΔAvg). The ۳۰-story building with end shear walls showed a decreasing trend on the period graph. When they hit the shear wall in the first period, they fell ۴۸%. The results showed that the steel skyscrapers were much better after installing the end shear walls.
