چکیده مقاله:
This paper presents an investigation into the influence of concrete panel thickness (CPT) on the post-firebehavior of composite steel plate shear walls (CSPSW). The concrete panel (CP) within the CSPSW servesa crucial role in augmenting the shear capacity of this lateral-resisting system by mitigating out-of-planebuckling of the steel plate. However, a fundamental inquiry arises: does this component contribute toenhancing the shear capacity of the steel plate (SP) by mitigating fire-induced damage? To address thisquestion, a series of numerical CSPSW models at a scale of ۱:۳ were developed, featuring varying CPTs of۸۰, ۱۰۰, ۱۲۰, ۱۵۰, and ۲۰۰ mm, and subsequently subjected to cyclic loading following ۲ hours of fireexposure. Fire simulations were conducted utilizing coupled temperature-displacement analysis, andsubsequent to adjustments in mechanical properties due to fire exposure, the CSPSWs underwent cyclicquasi-static loading. The findings indicate that the CP effectively functions as a protective cover for the SPowing to the low thermal conductivity of concrete. Notably, an increase in CPT from ۱۲۰ mm to ۲۰۰ mmresulted in a significant enhancement of the final post-fire shear capacity, exhibiting a ۴۸.۷۰% increase.
