A new approach for solving a class of fuzzynonlinear programming problems in mechanicaldesign optimization

The aim of this paper is to solve a class of fuzzy nonlinear programming problems(FNPPs) that contain fuzzy nonlinear objective function and non-fuzzy nonlinearconstraint functions using a new approach. This novel approach is based on a-cutsets and a new piecewise linearization definition. Finally, an applied example inmechanical design is illustrated in order to show the efficiency of this new approach.
