چکیده مقاله:

Surgical management is the cornerstone of treatment for thyroid cancer, aiming to achieve complete tumor resection while preserving vital neck structures and optimizing patient outcomes. Various surgical approaches, including total thyroidectomy, central compartment lymph node dissection, and lateral neck dissection, are employed based on tumor characteristics and extent of disease. In recent years, minimally invasive techniques, such as minimally invasive thyroidectomy (MIT), robotic-assisted thyroidectomy (RAT), and endoscopic thyroidectomy (ET), have gained popularity, offering patients the benefits of reduced surgical trauma, faster recovery, and improved cosmetic outcomes compared to traditional open techniques. These minimally invasive approaches aim to achieve comparable oncological outcomes while optimizing patient experience and satisfaction. However, the selection of the most appropriate surgical approach should be individualized based on tumor characteristics, patient preferences, and surgeon expertise. Continued advancements in surgical technology and techniques are likely to further enhance the safety and efficacy of thyroid cancer surgery, providing patients with personalized treatment options and improved surgical outcomes.
