Evaluation of TgCCp۵A Protein as a Potential Candidate for Vaccine Development and Serological Detection of Toxoplasma gondii

This study investigates the TgCCp۵A protein (ABP۵۵۵۸۵۸۸) of Toxoplasma gondii to evaluate its potential as a vaccine candidate and for serological detection. Using bioinformatics tools, the protein's antigenicity, allergenicity, and toxicity were assessed, revealing it to be antigenic (VaxiJen score: .۸۵۰.۰), non-allergenic, and non-toxic. The physicochemical analysis indicated a molecular weight of ۸.۵۲۰۵,۸۰۵Daltons, a half-life of ۰. hours in mammalian reticulocytes, and a thermostable nature (aliphatic index: ۰۵۸۵۸). The protein exhibited high solubility with a GRAVY index of -.۸,۰, and identified multiple linear B-cell and cytotoxic T lymphocyte epitopes, all showing high antigenicity. These findings suggest that TgCCp۵A could be a promising candidate for vaccine development and serological detection of T. gondii across various hosts.
