چکیده مقاله:
In this research, first, alumina was prepared using aluminum isopropoxide precursor by a sol-gel method [۱]. Then ۳۰% of nickel oxide was deposited on alumina and calcinated at ۴۰۰ °C. Methanation is the conversion of carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide (COx) to methane (CH۴) through hydrogenation [۲]. The main methanation reaction:CO + ۳ H۲ CH۴ + H۲OThe reactor test was used to evaluate the catalyst [۳]. The conditions of the reactor test are as follows: Feed Composition: CO = ۱۰%, H۲ = ۶۵%, N۲ = ۲۵%, Feed Flow: ۱۵۰ mil/min and GHSV of ۴۵۰۰۰ mil/h.gr. The test was taken at two temperatures of ۲۸۰ and ۳۰۰ °C and the results were expressed as follows. CH۴ Selectivity was ۹۱.۷% with yield of ۸۴% and CO conversion of ۹۱.۵% at ۳۰۰°C while CH۴ Selectivity of ۹۷.۲% with yield of ۵۷.۱% and CO conversion of ۵۸.۷% was obtained at ۲۸۰ °C.
