Challenges of routing protocols in the Internet of Things (IoT)

The Internet of Things (IoT) has revolutionized the way devices interact and communicate witheach other, leading to a more interconnected world. Key areas impacted by IoT include smarthomes, cities, and healthcare systems. Routing protocols play a vital role in ensuring efficient datatransmission in IoT networks. However, these protocols face various challenges that can impactnetwork performance and reliability. This study addresses the challenges facing routing protocolsin the Internet of Things, including scalability, heterogeneity, dynamics of Internet of Thingsnetworks, resource limitations, security, quality of service, and reliability, analyzes methods foraddressing these challenges, and discusses the implications of overcoming them
