چکیده مقاله:

Starting to teach a language has some preliminary and Essential needs. Knowing the language (syntax,semantic and pragmatics), proficiency, and fluency are not adequate to start teaching. Knowing how to teachis vital and in order to accomplish this aim, you need to know some essential preliminary knowledge andthen enter to a class. For example, the history of second language methods and approaches, some facts andother issues which are mentioned in this paper.In the history of English teaching methodology, we faced with some other prevailing collections as suchbut what makes this paper different is the check list for new English teachers at beginning and at the end ofthe paper (like a self - pre-test and post-test) which delivered in Teacher Training Courses in Iran, GuilanEnglish institutes.All this information together guides the new teachers and prevent the probable problems in the classroom ifand only if the teacher does his / her best to monitor his/her teaching and have a daily, weekly, monthly andsemester lesson plan.
