چکیده مقاله:

This article presents the results of a study which examined the level of computer literacyof language students and also the relationship between their language proficiency andcomputer literacy. A total of ۵۳ EFL students were chosen from different language institutesof Sanandaj. They were given two questionnaires. The first questionnaire was second versionof Oxford Placement Test and the second questionnaire was an adapted version of ComputerLiteracy Questionnaire. It took one session to complete the questionnaires. T-test was run todetermine the relationship between the two variables. It was revealed that there is a directrelationship between language proficiency and computer literacy of students. Those who weremore proficient in English had been able to use computer more easily. This study haslimitations in the size of participants and the condition of data collection. It is obvious that thefindings of the study cannot be generalized to all Iranian EFL students
