چکیده مقاله:

Background: Health literacy refers to social and cognitive skills that show women's motivationand ability to receive and use useful knowledge to maintain and improve their health and that oftheir children. Therefore, the present study was conducted to review the reproductive healthliteracy and self-efficacy of women.Materials and methods: In this review study, scientific texts were searched with the keywords ofhealth literacy, reproductive health, and women's self-efficacy in Google Scholar, PubMed,Irandoc, SID, and the country's publications information bank.Findings: The results of the present study show that reproductive health includes all criticalstages in ensuring the health of family members, especially women and girls, from birth to theend of life. Because despite critical conditions in a country or region, people's health is at risk, itis necessary to pay attention to public health and fertility in such conditions. In our country, likemany other countries, there are challenges in women's information there is the field ofreproductive health and women's reproductive rights and their educational needs.Conclusion: In this study, the health and treatment environment was identified as themost important stages to explain reproductive health literacy and self-efficacy of women andmothers. Based on these findings, it is possible to design and implement interventions toincrease the level of reproductive health literacy in educational medical centers to respect therole of women and mothers. This requires training and cooperation betweenorganizations. Also, the use of trained and specialized forces in a suitable training environmentcan be effective in increasing women's self-efficacy and health literacy.
