چکیده مقاله:
Background: Industrial environments due to the nature and type of activitie face with various risks in terms ofsafety, health, hygiene and environment. As a result there are possibility of harm to humans, equipment andthe environment, in case of occurrence of an accident .Therefore, the current study was done on the aim ofidentifying possible risks, estimating the level of risk, controlling and reducing the level of risk and in line withmaintaining the health of personnel, equipment, fund and the affected environment .Methods: In this research, the "William Fine" method, which is an organized and systematic technique of riskassessment in identification potential risks and risk level estimation was used In the administrative units of ametal parts manufacturing company in Ahvaz city in order to manage risk and reduce it to an acceptable level.To this after identifying the activities and processes of the administrative units , the risks and potential damagingfactors were identified and then according to the intensity of the effect, the probability of its occurrence andthe possible consequences of its exposure to humans, the environment and equipment, the task of evaluatingand classifying risks were done.Results: The present study examined the administrative units of a metal manufacturing company ,in that a totalof ۲۹ risks were identified. The results showed that ۶.۸% of risks were at high risk level, ۱۳.۷% were at middlelevel and ۷۹.۳% were at low level.Conclusion: In order to reduce the level of risk and improve the level of safety, applying appropriate andcorrective actions and solutions, to eliminate, reduce or control existing risks, is necessary.
