چکیده مقاله:
This study investigates the challenges and opportunities associated with achieving sustainableboiler operations within the framework of Industry ۴.۰. The SWARA method is employed toanalyze expert feedback (from ۱۵ industrial and academic professionals) on the impact ofIndustry ۴.۰ technologies on boiler sustainability. These technologies have the potential torevolutionize boiler operation by enhancing energy efficiency, reducing emissions, andimproving safety. However, successful implementation requires addressing key challenges.The analysis identifies "workforce transformation" and "data management and integration" asthe most significant hurdles, while "improved energy efficiency" and "enhanced safety"emerge as the most promising opportunities for achieving operational sustainability. Thisresearch contributes by informing the development of policies, strategies, and solutions thatpromote sustainable boiler operation in a rapidly evolving technological landscape. It alsoequips industrial managers with valuable insights for implementing strategic managementpractices that ensure boiler sustainability.
