چکیده مقاله:

Background: "Reintegration into normal life" is a valid and long-standing indicator in the field of chronicdiseases and is used when treatment is not possible. "Reintegration" means refers to theamount level of performance in doing what the patient has to do or tends to do. Also, whenevaluating the impact of a therapeutic intervention, it is possible to determine theeffectiveness of the intervention by assessing the rate of return to patients' return to life and,and through which specific decision-making policies can be formulated. The purpose of thisconcept analysis is to clarify the concept of reintegration to life by considering its applicationin different studies. Methods: A concept analysis was done. We searched a wide range of electronic sources includingmanual searches of unpublished research reports (gray literature) through libraries and theCochrane PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, SID in different fields (psychology, sociology,Nursing and Medicine) . The search was conducted using keywords and MeSH headingsincluding 'Reintegration to life', 'Reintegration to 'Normal Living', “Reintegration” between۲۰۱۰ to ۲۰۲۳. Rodgers' evolutionary concept analysis method was used to clarify theantecedents, attributes and consequences. Results: The ۲۱ eligible articles were fully studied and findings were categorized into antecedents, attributes and consequences. Reintegration to life antecedents were classified into threecategories: patient/family/caregivers related factors, factors related to hospital system(inpatient care), and social factors. The defining attributes include reintegration to life with ahospital-based approach and transitional care with a community-based approach.Consequences categorized into patient-related consequences, family/caregiver-relatedconsequences, and society-related consequences. Conclusion: The results of the analysis of the reintegration to life concept have shown that this concept isnot limited to care provided by nurses in hospital and that its proper happening requiresconsidering many factors including the status of patients and their families(education, economy, age), different members of the healthcare team participation (psychologist, occupational therapist, physiotherapist) and environmental and social conditions andfacilities. A proper understanding of reintegration to life not only specifies the role of careproviders, but also creates a basis for designing an evidence based care program.
