For this reason, the present study aims todetermination of relationship between drugs’ safety competence and Medication Administration Error Perceptions in clinical nurses’that are working in the educational hospitals in city of Ardabil from October ۲۰۲۳ to October ۲۰۲۴Methods and Materials: The descriptive correlational study, ۳۰۰ nurses that are working in educational hospitals of Ardabil, IRANhas been chosen with proportional stratified sampling method. The data were collected using the GA Semoun and JK Park(۲۰۲۱)drugs’ safety competence Questionnaire and Wakefield et all (۲۰۰۵) Medication Administration Error PerceptionsQuestionnaire”.The collected data were analyzed in SPSS software (۲۶) using descriptive statistics, independent t-test, analysis ofvariance, Pearson correlation coefficients, and linear regression logistic model. Results: The results revealed that the drugs safety competences in Nurses (۷۷%) and Medication Administration Error Perceptionsnurses (۶۶.۶%) was at a moderate level . The mean nurses’ drug safety competence and Medication Administration Error Perceptionswere reported (۱۳۵/۴۸ ±۱۵/۴۱) and (۳۱۶/۱۲ ±۳۲/۱۳) and this difference was statistically significant (P<۰.۰۰۱). There was a positiveand significant correlation between drugs safety competences and Medication Administration Error Perceptions (P=۰.۰۳). Thestepwise multiple linear regression model showed that ' patient-centered medication management ' was a stronger predictor than othervariables in Peredict of the Medication Administration Error Perceptions between clinical nurses. Conclusion and discussion: All the nurses in the present study had required level of drug safety competence and drug-related errorscomprehension.
