چکیده مقاله:

A number of Mycoplasma spp. often referred to as the “Mycoides cluster,” can cause respiratory infections in goats; however, only Mycoplasma capricolum, capripneumoniae cause contagious caprine pleuropneumonia (CCPP). The infectious disease has high mortality and morbidity rate it causes economic losses. clinical signs of CCPP may includes; dyspnea, sero-mucoid nasal discharge, Lethargy, fever, pleurodynia and sometimes breathing quickly with open mouth. In severe cases, fibrinous pleuropneumonia, hydrothorax and pulmonary congestion are observed.In a herd of Saanen and Alpine goats, ۳۴ goats with respiratory symptoms, fever and friction sound in auscultation of chest was examined. ۱۰ goats were necropsied. At necropsy, fibrinous fluid in chest and hydrothorax was seen. lung secretions samples from ten necropsied goats were sent for identification Mccp by PCR test and all of them were positive.CCPP is in notifiable diseases, list B OIE. This study shows the importance of control and prevention of CCPP in goats.
