چکیده مقاله:
Background and Objective: Among the environmental pollutions, noise pollution, due to the potential physiological andpsychological effects on humans, is of a particular importance. One of the most important sources ofthis pollution is cars traffic. present study was implemented in ۲۰۱۱ with an overall goal of Matchingthe Ahwaz traffic noise prediction model with FHWA- STAMINA model and some others.Research Method: For this study ,data was colleted from totally ۱۱۲measuring stations, ۴ weekdays and ۳ intervals asrush hours, yielding to a total number of ۱۳۴۴ traffic noise measurements (Leq) and the influencialfactors from traffic load, speed of vehicles, environmental and dimensional factors of roads. In thenext step, all field data was put to Excel and SPSS , two soft wares for process. Then Regressionmulti- variables were tested on data in order to present some stasistical models. Correlation values ofmeasured Leq were next compared with estimations of models FHWA- TNM , FHWA- STAMINA,India Model , china Model ,Turkey Model, Hong kong Model and Iran Passage Model ITNP.ResultsThe findings of this study showed that average of equivalent Sound pressure level in all stations isequal to ۷۲/۶۲ ± ۲/۵۳ dBA. The results of Pearson correlation Test showed that except for Turkey andIndia models others reported a relatively acceptable Leq for field study datas. The lowest correlationcoefficients between measured Leq and estimated Leq among all, were (r=۰.۳۰۴) and (r=۰.۳۰۶)respectively for India and Turkey models, and the highest values were (r=۰.۷۸۸) and (r=۰.۷۲۲)respectively for ITNP and FHWA-STAMINA models.ConclusionThis difference of the estimation from various models with that of the present model, consideringvarious modeling strategies, traffic condition, distribution level, passage features etc. This differencealso showed that the above models valid only to their own conditions and not suitable for a field studylike the present one. The results as well as showed preference of FHWA- STAMINA and ITNP toother models for the present field study.
