چکیده مقاله:
When huge amount of aggregates are required, due to the difficulty in the time-consuming process of aggregate sieving, the combined gradation technique is used as a smart alternative. This study was conducted to provide a combined gradation for Kajang quarry, Malaysia. This quarry was the source of the aggregate as a granite quarry. Unhydrated limestone, which was dust fraction of crushed limestone, from the CAO industries Sdn. Bhd., Malaysia was used as mineral filler. In the proposed combined gradation procedure both mathematical and graphical methods were used to successfully produce a gradation that fulfill the Stone Mastic Asphalt (SMA) specifications recommended by National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA, ۱۹۹۹).
