چکیده مقاله:

Digital literacy is essential for medical students to access and interpret data, analyze medical images, and use technology to improve patient care. In addition, digital literacy plays an essential role for medical students. Digital literacy is an essential prerequisite for all health care students, giving them skills that help them use digital technology in all areas of life. Mastery of technological tools and digital skills becomes a barrier to entry into and participation in online cultures and contexts. Digital literacy is also essential for medical students to access and interpret data, analyze medical images, and use technology to improve patient care. Studies have shown that the level of awareness of digital literacy and digital data security among students who use computers daily for a longer period of time is higher than that of students who use computers for a shorter period of time. As the level of students' use of digital devices increases, the level of digital literacy and awareness of the security of their digital data also increases. Also, the type of study program, level, and type of study significantly affect digital literacy.Meanwhile, students were more confident in the communication tools they used every day (such as email) and were relatively least confident in using programs such as graphics processors, spreadsheets, database systems, etc. In general, for the students of the ۲۱st century, due to the advances in the digital world, familiarity with digital skills has become a basic requirement for them. However, the digital literacy skills and competencies they have before starting university do not always mean they can use them purposefully to support their learning. As a result, planning to improve the digital literacy of health care students who are future health care providers is one of the requirements of the next generation to provide digital treatments.
