چکیده مقاله:

Brain cancer, particularly glioblastoma, remains a formidable challenge due to the blood-brain barrier (BBB), which restricts drug delivery. Nanoparticles, offering precise targeting and controlled release, represent a promising approach to overcome these limitations. By tailoring their size, shape, and surface properties, nanoparticles can selectively deliver anticancer drugs to tumor cells, enhancing efficacy while minimizing systemic toxicity. These nanocarriers increase drug concentration within the tumor microenvironment, protect drugs from degradation, and prolong their circulation time. Various nanoparticle types, including polymeric nanoparticles, liposomes, and carbon nanotubes, each with unique advantages, are being explored for brain cancer therapy. While nanoparticles hold great potential, challenges such as toxicity and stability must be addressed. Preclinical and clinical research is essential to optimize nanoparticle formulations and ensure their safe and effective application in brain cancer treatment. In conclusion, nanoparticles offer a promising avenue for advancing brain cancer therapy by overcoming the BBB and improving drug delivery to tumor cells.
