چکیده مقاله:
This article concentrates on finding the most effective disinfection method at the stage of germination of Hibiscus sabdariffa seeds. In this regard, an experiment was performed with a randomized complete block design (RCBD) in three replications. The study included nine treatments: (۱) Seeds were disinfected with Mancozeb fungicide solution and seeds were washed, (۲) Seeds were coated with fungicide and were not washed, (۳) Seeds were disinfected with sodium hypochlorite and were washed, (۴) Seeds were disinfected with sodium hypochlorite and were not washed, (۵) Seeds were not disinfected, (۶) Seeds were disinfected with fungicides and sodium hypochlorite and washed, (۷) Seeds were disinfected with fungicide and sodium hypochlorite and washed, (۸) Seeds were disinfected with sodium hypochlorite and washed, (۹) Seeds were disinfected with sodium hypochlorite and were not washed. The study of factors including shoot and root dry weight, shoot and root length, germination rate and germination percentage, and vigour index. The results showed that the effect of Mancozeb fungicide and sodium hypochlorite on root length, shoot and root dry weight, and vigour index was significant. Thus, two treatments: (۶) and (۷) had outstanding performance.
