چکیده مقاله:

The success rate of assisted reproductivetechniques(ART) is still low, especially in womenwith poor ovarian responses. Considering the risksof hormone therapy, it is necessary to use cheap, available and highly predictive indicators to ensurethe correct selection of patients and to express thechance of success rate in consultation with patients. For this purpose, many biomarkers have beenutilized. AMH and antral follicle count (AFC) areconsidered to be the most commonly availablemethods. Other advanced methods have beenproposed, such as the ratio of the number ofoocytes obtained during puncture to the number offollicles greater than ۱۷ mm in the ovary on thetrigger day(FOI) and the FSH /LH ratio. Objective: This study was designed to investigatethe Predictive value of FOI, FSH/LH ratio andbaseline serum levels of FSH and AMH withfertility outcomes in infertile women undergoingICSI cycles. Methods: This retrospective cohort study wasperformed on ۲۰۰ infertile women undergoing ICSItreatment to investigate the relationship betweenFOI, FSH/LH ratio and baseline serum levels ofFSH and AMH as independent variables andaverage variables (fertility outcomes). Results: The receiver operating characteristics(ROC) showed statistically significant AUC valuesfor FOI (۰.۶۰۴,p=۰.۰۱۴) and AMH(۰.۷۱۱,p<۰.۰۰۱),while FSH and FSH/LH were notsignificant. Logistic regression revealed that thestrongest predictors of live birth were FOI(RR(۹۵% CI): ۳.۱(۱.۵-۶.۳),p=۰.۰۰۲) and AMH(۴.۱۱(۱.۹۸-۸.۵۵),p<۰.۰۰۱).Conclusion: These findings suggest that FOI hasa comparable predictor value to AMH, and both areuseful biomarkers for predicting the likelihood oflive births in this population
