Relationship between social health and quality of life in diabetic patients of Qorve city

Background and Aim: Since social health plays an important role in the quality of life in diabetic patients, but no study has been conducted in this field in Qorveh city, so the present study is conducted with the aim of investigating the relationship between social health and quality of life in diabetic patients in Qorveh city. Materials and Methods: This study is carried out cross-sectionally and on diabetic patients of Qorve city. The sample size was considered equal to ۳۵۰ people. Three demographic questionnaires, Keyes Social Health Questionnaire and Quality of Life Questionnaire were used in diabetic patients by Thomas et al. After collecting the questionnaires, SPSS software version ۲۴ was used to analyze the data using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Results: A significant relationship was observed between educational level and prosperity, job and social cohesion, quality of life and marital status, economic status, and educational level. Conclusion: Social health and quality of life of diabetic patients were average. As much as the quality of life is continuously improved, the damage and psychological disorders and dissatisfaction with life will be reduced to the same extent. Social health, as one of the dimensions of human health, plays an important role in the interaction of the social life of every human being, and based on the results of the research, appropriate practical strategies can be made to improve the social health and quality of life of diabetic patients by using strategies to improve social health and Provide quality of life
